Despite Heidi Klum’s big slime moment at last year’s KCA’s the actress STILL chose to show up to this orange carpet in white!! Heidi stepped out looking gorgeous as always in Los Angeles in a skin tight off white sweater dress. The dress hugged Heidi’s fit figure, and had a sky hemline to show of her toned legs. To off set the white, Heidi chose to swap out the standard heels for some thigh high boots in the same neutral color family. The dress is the perfect transition piece—warm, but springy and definitely a very classy choice. As far as accessories, Klum kept it simple with some chandelier earrings, and a silver ring. She added a pop of color with her manicure, sporting some sassy red nails to compliment the sexy boots. For her hair, Heidi kept the look signature with lose beachy waves parted down the middle with some extra volume. As far as her makeup, the long time attendee of the KCA’s sported a very natural look. She defined her lashes and brows to turn her eyes into the star of the show and left the lips neutral with just an understated gloss. All in all, this ensemble was natural, and elegant, let’s just hope it doesn’t get a green tint by the end of the night. I’m Brianna Baxter for Red Alert.

The movie is based on Ntozake Shange’s play “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf.” Unlike the original play which featured only 7 women known by colors performing the collection of 20 poems, the movie has given each of the 20 characters names. Each of the poems deal with intense issues that particularly impact women in a thought-provoking commentary on what it means to be a female of color in the world.
